Those are words scrawled on a sign.
Carried by a man standing on a busy street corner.
Shaking a self-righteous finger at the people walking in and out of nightclubs, in and out of restaurants, in and out of coffee houses on a Friday night.
That’s not good church marketing.
Not even close.
It’s not the truth in love.
It doesn’t represent our brand — our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Such tactics drive people away. Such tactics fuel a distorted stereotype of Christians.
The approach is wrong.
It’s harmful.
Please don’t do it.
