The food is good but the service is terrible

Think about your favorite restaurant.

What keeps you going back there again and again?

What makes you take your friends when they come for a visit?

The food, obviously.

But how about the service? The atmosphere?

I don’t know about you, but there are few restaurants I’ll take friends and family to if the service is terrible and the atmosphere isn’t welcoming — no matter how good the food is.

Is your church the kind of place you want to invite your friends and family to attend?

Does your pastor preach the truth of Christ? Does he or she preach the truth in love?

Do you have front-line workers and greeters that make you feel welcome?

Are the people friendly? Do they say hello to visitors? Do they shake hands?

Are visitors encouraged to come back? Invited to Sunday School class?

Are children welcome?

Visitors take all of this into account. How you answer these questions should impact your church marketing efforts.
