Church Marketing: The right response to ‘wrong’

The Apostle Peter writes:

Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.

The unchanging truth of Christ often runs contrary to the evolving philosophies of the world. It was true in Peter’s time. It’s true today. As a result, Christians are often labeled as “wrong” by society at large.

How do we, as Christians, respond to the labels and the accusations?

Take Peter’s advice: Live such good lives that the world may see our good deeds and glorify God.

Let’s anchor ourselves in the Word and do what it says.

Let’s keep seeking opportunities to show the love of Christ to others.

Let’s never waiver from the Truth.

Let’s never forget that there’s a very real devil that will do all he possibly can to weaken our faith — and our effectiveness as witnesses for Christ.

Let’s remember that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

And as we act on Christ’s commands, let’s always be ready to answer the question that will come from the world: “Why do you do these things?”

How do you respond when the world says you’re wrong?
