Be on the lookout

Last night during our Bible study, our group discussed false teachers.

This is not a First Century phenomenon.

Unfortunately, the reality is that there are people and organizations out there who will manipulate Scripture for their own gain, their own agenda, and their own profit.

A Christian Church should be a safe place where people are able to go to study God’s Word and hear God’s Word — the unadulterated Truth.

Everything can be tested by Scripture. And testing should be encouraged.

If yours is a church that does not encourage those in the pews to read the Bible and discover God’s Truth, your church is in desperate need of a change.

If you attend a church that doesn’t allow for growth through reading the Bible, you need to rethink your commitment to that church.

Be on the lookout for false teachers in your churches and in your communities.

How does your church work to ensure the Truth of God’s Word is being preached?
