Church Marketing: ‘Well, I sent him an email’

I’ve got a friend who will not send a text message.

If I text him, he’ll read it and call me back.

I kind of admire that.

Emails and text messages and other forms of electronic communication provide us a certain anonymity.

We type an email or a text, send it off, and then the ball is in his court. If he responds? Great. If he doesn’t? Well, I did my part.

I’m guilty of this.

Church marketing involves relationship building — something beyond words on a screen. Be willing to follow up with a phone call or a face-to-face meeting.
