Everyone needs to eat today.
Feed someone.
Here are nine ways to do it:
- Take a friend or coworker to lunch and enjoy a conversation.
- If you’re in the drive-thru, pay for the person behind you.
- While you’re at the store, pick up extra canned goods and donate them to a local food pantry.
- Take a home-cooked meal to a shut-in.
- Drop off a meal to neighbors who recently welcomed a new baby into the world.
- Sign up with World Vision or Compassion International to help feed hungry children.
- If you know where a group of homeless people gather, buy a bag of hamburgers and drop them by.
- Call the local school district and see how you can help feed area children who have nothing to eat on the weekends.
- Invite your kid’s friend over for dinner.
